About Craftsmen Industries

Craftsmen Industries custom manufactures unique specialty trailers and vehicles and large format printed elements for experiential marketing and industrial solutions for brands across the industry spectrum including Boeing, PepsiCo, and Anheuser-Busch. Our Craftsmen team includes one subsidiary, Schantz Manufacturing. Schantz focuses on custom manufacturing of concession trailers for the fair and festival industry.

Required Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years' of proven plumbing experience as a plumber.

Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.

Familiar with PVC, CPV, PEX, black pipe, and copper.

Must be safety conscious with good housekeeping skills.

Must possess following skill sets:

Mechanical Aptitude
Read and understand engineering drawings
Read tape measure
Use air and electric hand tools

Ability to solve simple issues and learn the job quickly.

Strong attention to detail and precision.

Must effectively communicate and present interpretations of work.

Maintain a positive attitude towards team members and other departments.

Displays initiative to learn and to take on more responsibilities.

Ability to work successfully within a team and as an individual contributor.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Physical Requirements:

Physically able to stand up 8+ hours per day.

Physically able to move and transport up to 75 lbs.

Ability to ascend/descend on a ladder, climb in/out of trailers and work atop scaffolding.

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, squat, kneel, climb, balance, and reach overhead.

Ability to bend, grip and move fingers/hands.

Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions.
