Plumber – St. Charles, MO
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years’ of proven plumber experience in plumbing jobs.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.
- Familiar with PVC, CPV, PEX, black pipe, and copper.
- Must be safety conscious with good housekeeping skills.
- Must possess following skill sets:
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Read and understand engineering drawings
- Read tape measure
- Use air and electric hand tools
- Ability to solve simple issues and learn the job quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Must effectively communicate and present interpretations of work.
- Maintain a positive attitude towards team members and other departments.
- Displays initiative to learn and to take on more responsibilities.
- Ability to work successfully within a team and as an individual contributor.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years’ plumber experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Plumbing Certification or Plumber License.
- Experience with soda fountain heads and commercial ice makers.
Physical Requirements
- Physically able to stand up 8+ hours per day.
- Physically able to move and transport up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to ascend/descend on a ladder, climb in/out of trailers and work atop scaffolding.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, squat, kneel, climb, balance, and reach overhead.
- Ability to bend, grip and move fingers/hands.
- Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions.
