emg3's Aquafresh Project
emg3, a full service event marketing agency, contacted Craftsmen Industries with a project for their client, Aquafresh. emg3 designed a six station brushing trailer ideal for traveling to various events and encouraging visitors to try Aquafresh toothpaste in an individual brushing station.
Craftsmen custom built exterior sink stations into the 20-foot bumperpull trailer. Each custom brushing station consisted of a modern vessel-style sink, paper towel dispenser, side-chute trash can and custom bathroom fixtures. The trailer was equipped with a fully operable plumbing system that allows, on average 500 brushes a day, and plenty of fresh water to endure several days at an event. The water faucets at each station are controlled by timers programmed to automatically shut off after 5 seconds. The timer-operated faucets ensure water usage can be monitored at event sites.

Craftsmen printed and applied custom graphics to the exterior and interior of the trailer. A 20-foot by 3-foot rooftop double-sided envelope banner was printed and installed on the trailer with the Aquafresh logo.
The rear of the trailer, referred to as the "Gesturetek area," included an interactive 50-inch wall mounted plasma screen. This area was designed for tour visitors to approach the plasma screen with an Aquafresh-branded two-foot toothbrush and brush directly onto the teeth that were projected on the plasma. The brushing motion of the oversize toothbrush was detected by a camera above the plasma and bubbles appear when the toothbrush is pressed against the screen. The faster you brush, more bubbles appeared on the screen.
Aquafresh began the tour at their first stop in Washington DC for a BBQ contest, which is an ideal spot for a toothbrushing trailer!
