Manito Fuel Products Paint Project
Stuart Tank Sales approached Craftsmen Industries with an idea for a customized paint job for their client, Manito Fuel Products. Craftsmen’s paint shop worked on a unique color combination of pearl white and a custom green. With the tanker stretching over 45 feet in length, the design and implementation of the job was completed in various steps.
Craftsmen’s professional paint crew understood the complexity of the paint job on this unit. First, the new unit was prepped and primed. Then the tanker was laid out for stripping and the entire tank as painted white. The pearl and clear coat was applied, followed

by remasking the unit white. While the top portion of the tanker was covered, the bottom design was primed and a green coat of paint was applied. A clear coat was applied and the final lime green stripe finished off the sides of the tanker.
The top rear portion of the tanker resembles an arch. The Paint Shop Manager, Rip Menees, actually freehanded the design by marking the center and filling in the sides from that center point. This specific paint job was an important one out of the Manito fleet because it is the owner’s personal trailer. The sleet look of this specific paint job demonstrates only one of Craftsmens’ paint capabilities.
